
The tournament brought together 24 players representing Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, divided into six teams. With the support of an official umpire from the Asociación Argentina de Polo (AAP), the event combined high-level competition with the spirit of fellowship and international connection that has always defined the Ambassadors Cup.

A Prelude: The First Senior International Tournament
Earlier in the month, from August 2–3, 2025, Los Baguales Polo Club partnered with Arroyos y Esteros Polo Club to organize the first Senior International Polo Tournament in Paraguay. The event featured 24 senior players from Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, and Paraguay, marking the formation of the Mercosur Senior Polo group and setting the stage for the Ambassadors Cup.
